I am applying for admission to the T14. I noticed at many schools, the class profile page states that a large proportion (often around 25%) of matriculated students at top schools come from the "Northeast states." Would applying to the T14 from an address in Florida give even the slightest advantage, as opposed to applying from New Jersey?

I'm fairly certain the answer is no, but have no way of verifying for sure.

Thanks for your answer. If anyone else has any ideas, feel free to chime in.

I was talking to a friend who suggested that geography might only help residents from a few, low-population states. The theory is that T14 want to say "we have students from all 50 states". There's an overflow of qualified applicants from the coasts but probably fewer from places like Wyoming, North Dakota, Montana, etc.

Being the guy with 172 from Wyoming might be better than being another 172 New York applicant.
